The integration of petrography with sedimentological data greatly aids reservoir characterisation and prediction. Firmground offers its clients detailed characterisation, quantification and models for diagenesis through the use of thin-sections descriptions, point counting, as well as SEM petrography. The results are integrated with sedimentological information gained from the core to produce detailed paragenetic schemes.
